While we operate under 14 CFR Part 61, our program is modeled on the structure and discipline of a Part 141-style syllabus, ensuring you receive comprehensive and efficient training every step of the way.

Private Pilot Helicopter (PPL)
FAA Requirement – 14 CFR § 61.109(c)
• Minimum 40 total flight hours
• Includes 20 hours of dual instruction and 10 hours of solo
• Ground instruction to prepare for the FAA written and oral exams
All hourly rates include fuel (wet). Final training cost depends on total hours flown and aircraft used.
Instrument Rating (IFR) – Helicopter
FAA Requirement – 14 CFR § 61.65(c)
• 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument flight time
• At least 15 hours with a CFII in helicopters
• One IFR cross-country flight (per 61.65(c)(1))
• 50 hours PIC cross-country required (may be completed during training)
IFR-approved avionics, glass cockpit, and GPS navigation for realistic IFR training
All hourly rates include fuel (wet). Final training cost depends on total hours flown and aircraft used.
Commercial Pilot Helicopter (CPL)
FAA Requirement – 14 CFR § 61.129(c)
• 150 total flight hours (100 in helicopters)
• Includes 20 hours of dual instruction and 10 hours of solo
• Private Pilot time may count toward the total
IFR-approved avionics, glass cockpit, and GPS navigation for realistic IFR training

Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – Helicopter
FAA Requirements – 14 CFR §§ 61.183, 61.185
• No minimum flight hour requirement under Part 61
• Must demonstrate instructional proficiency and teaching knowledge
• Includes FOI and FIA knowledge tests, lesson plan creation, and FAA checkride prep
Robinson R44 $620.00/Hr.
Ground Instruction $65.00/Hr.
